Popular in the Islands, Latin America, and Miami, this classic dish is done with a 2 1/2 pound beef brisket, two red bell peppers, two medium onions, and a Goya tomato based sauce (called "Sofrito") which can be obtained in the latin section of most supermarkets. Best made in a slow cooker (crockpot) set to low for 6 hours. Remove the meat, shed it with two forks, return it to the pot. The peppers and onions will form a wonderful sauce along with the tomato based "sofrito" by Goya. Use a hand blender to make it smooth. That's all that is to it!
