Seriously, for most crockpots if you halve the recipes the cooking time is usually cut by a quarter for example: 1 hour would be 45 minutes, 2 hours = 1 and a half hours etc. This could vary depending on altitude but, the recipes themselves will tell you these differences.</description>

		<description>Most Crock pot recipes assume a certain evaporation rate based on the size of the crock pot. So depending on the recipe you might have some problems with it. I would suggest getting a smaller crock pot or consider getting one of the vacuum sealers and making a larger recipe then freezing half in a vacuum bag then bring it out in a few weeks. 

We are only 2 and do both. We often make a gallon of chili, soup or stew and freeze several meals.</description>
